Dr. Barbara Tucker

Dr. Barbara Tucker is an educator, wife, and mother. She grew up in North Carolina and attended colleges and universities in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. She earned degrees in Educational Leadership, Elementary and Early Childhood Education.

She considers herself a lifelong learner, and she is passionate about education. She has been in education for over 20 years and served as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal.

Dr. Tucker is married to Mr. Tucker. They have two daughters, as well as a Yorkie named “Mr. Sebastian”. When she is not working, Dr. Tucker enjoys reading, spending time with her family and attending sporting events. Atlanta Falcons Football and Atlanta Braves Baseball are BIG things at the Tucker house.

Dr. Tucker is proud to be principal of Fort Daniel Elementary and she enjoys working alongside the wonderful staff, parents and community members. She cares about our school, families and students.

Mrs. Jennifer Hicks

Mrs. Hicks earned her Ed.S in from Mercer University, her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University, and a B.S. in Human Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.  Prior to coming to Fort Daniel, Mrs. Hicks taught at Harmony Elementary School and Bethesda Elementary School in Gwinnett County.  Mrs. Hicks has been married to her high school sweetheart for 18 years.  They have three boys.  The oldest is in 7th grade, the middle son is a 5th grader at Fort Daniel Elementary, and the youngest son will be in Kindergarten at the Fort.

Mrs. Angela Williams

Mrs. Williams is a native of South Georgia. She received her formal education from Georgia Southern University, M.A. in Early Childhood Education and Mercer University, M. Ed. in Educational Leadership.  

 She believes that "Education is the key to unlocking the world."  Her professional passion is continuous education.

Mrs. Williams has been married to her best friend for 17 years. They have two sons, aged 14 and 11. The newest member of their family is a Maltipoo named Brady. Outside of her professional responsibilities she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
